A few things to know.

Free use and Plus

Protect one chosen app for free with unlimited prayer pauses. Change your free app anytime. First Amen Plus protects more apps while your subscription is active. Bible reading, prayers, the journal, community, schedules, sheep progression and emergency unlock remain free.

Plus is an optional monthly or yearly subscription through Google Play on Android or the App Store on iOS. The price and full billing period are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the store where you subscribed. On iOS, cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid another charge. If you cancel, your access continues until the paid period ends. After that, one app stays protected for free. Use Restore purchases with the store account that purchased the subscription. Refunds follow your store’s applicable policies. Apple’s standard end user license agreement also applies to the iOS app. There is no subscription trial.

Your choices

App protection needs the Android permissions or iOS Screen Time authorization described before setup. You can disable protection or use emergency unlock. First Amen is a habit tool and cannot guarantee that distractions are prevented. Keep access to essential communications and do not rely on the app for emergencies.

Prayer and community

Prayer content, including AI-generated prayers, is devotional information, not medical, legal or other professional advice. AI can make mistakes. Scripture editions have their own attribution and license notices in the app.

Keep community interactions respectful. Do not post threats, harassment, illegal material, sexual exploitation, spam or another person's private information. You are responsible for content you share. If you see a problem, use the app’s report or block controls. We may remove content or restrict accounts to protect the community. Community participation requires an account and internet access.

Our privacy policy explains data use and deletion. For support, use the in-app support conversation or email admin@janusworks.dev. Statutory consumer rights continue to apply.
